Types of Hair Follicles.

There are various kinds of hairs such as curly hair, straight hairs etc, which is mainly constituted by hair follicle. A hair follicle is a part of the skin which grows the lower part of the hair by packing old cells together which is found in the skin. The gland which is attached mainly to the follicle is known as sebaceous gland, A gland which is present on the non growing hair places are known as sebum which seems to be tiny and its usually found everywhere except on the palms, lips and soles of the feet. The thicker and the density of hairs mainly based upon the number of sebaceous glands that are found on the skin. So the thicker part in hair represents or denotes that the number or count present in the particular place. The hairs which are found perpendicular and it is mainly because of the follicle lissis that are present on the surface of the skin and that will be attached to the follicle is a tiny bundle of muscle fiber and it is called as the arrector pili and it mainly constitutes the hair to be more perpendicular to the surface of the skin.
